The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Group 2 exam Combined Civil Services Examination Group II (CCSE-II) is conducted for recruitment to various positions within the state government.TNPSC has recently revised the Group 2 and Group 2A Syllabus 2024.
TNPSC Group 2 and 2A Selection Process 2024
The selection process for TNPSC Group 2 and 2A consists of two main stages:
Stage 1: Common Preliminary Examination for Group II and IIA Services
Stage 2: Separate Main examination for Group II and IIA Services
Note: For the post of Forester in the Forest Department and TAFCORN selection will be made in three successive stages
Stage 1: Common Preliminary Examination
Stage 2: Main Examination
Stage 3: Endurance Test.
- Common Preliminary Examination for the selection of candidates for Main Examinations;
- Main Examination for Group II Services for selection of candidates for the posts in Group II Services;
- Main Examination for Group IIA Services to select candidates for the posts in Group IIA Services.
- Preliminary Examination is a screening test only and qualifies for admission to the Main Examination.
